Founded in 1959 by Late Shri Dilbagh Singh Jee — a prominent first-class cricketer who represented Jammu & Kashmir and served as an instrumental DDCA selector — Delhi Gymkhana Cricket Club was born from a singular vision: to create a world-class training centre where young cricketers in Delhi could receive professional coaching, access excellent facilities, and compete at the highest domestic levels.
Today, under Mr. Bantu Singh — former Ranji Trophy first-class cricketer, BCCI Level-2 certified coach, and current Assistant Coach of the Delhi Ranji Trophy Team — the club continues that proud tradition.
