Late Shri Dilbagh Singh Jee — The Man Behind the Vision
Shri Dilbagh Singh Jee's prowess with the bat and ball earned him the honour of representing Jammu & Kashmir in first-class cricket. In an era when cricketing infrastructure in India was still finding its feet, he stood out as a dedicated and accomplished cricketer who brought pride to his team and region.
After hanging up his boots as a player, Shri Dilbagh Singh Jee went on to serve as an instrumental selector for the Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) — a role in which he discovered, mentored, and propelled some of the finest cricketing talents Delhi has ever produced. He was known for his sharp eye for talent, his unwavering integrity, and his ability to see potential where others saw none.
